Consider utilizing the indoor pool for family bonding. It's a good way to unwind after a day of exploring Cape Town.

Location with close proximity to the Convention Centre and Water front. Self-catering with all the basics and some luxuries. Good linen, well-sized rooms and good music system.
Not really, it was just what I wanted. Its not five-star hotel service but it was never meant to be that.

The Icon is more like an appartment building with daily housekeeping than a hotel. Studios have a living room and fully equipped kitchen. My studio was spacious; only the bathroom was a bit small. Studios have South African power outlets only: neither European nor British nor American plugs fit. Make sure to bring a special adapter or ask at the reception for one. The room was very clean. Beyond housekeeping, services are rather limited. There is no hotel lobby. Guests who like an accommodation that feels like a rented apartment (but with no need to care about housekeeping) will like this place. Those who prefer a traditional, full-service hotel should choose another hotel.

I must say, I was delighted to find that my room lacked even the most basic appliances! The aircon was leaking annoyingly instead of delivering cool comfort. Let me just mention, I expected a proper welcome gift, yet here I am, treated like any other 'guest'. I just couldn't bring myself to give a good review. Disgraceful!

The style is out of this world! Decor to die for! Really was great walking into the room! Friendly staff and good price!
The bed is extremely uncomfortable and they definitely need to sort out the sliding door in the lounge area for the wind - we were kept awake half the night because the wind howled throught the sliding door - it sounded like someone was getting murdered half the night!

Very clean close to the ICC so it was ideal for us as we were in Cape Town for the Jazz Fest
I tried to use the staircase and go locked into the staircase area, as there are no handles to the door inside the staircase.I was fortunate to have my cell phone with me so I called someone to open the door. This could be dangerous for children and needs immediate attention

Nice central in cape town city bowl. Secure parking. Very good price person/zar550.00. Enough space. Very clean bath room and toilette, big shower.
Basicly no service, get the key and go......perfect for business traveler, that are not looking for big service. Room in out!

The items previously mentioned.
We were on the eleventh floor, unfortuantely on the same side as the Karaoke bar which went wild from 22h00 to 04h00. Very little sleep since the exterior walls did little to keep the noise out. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

I loved my stay at Icon Luxury! The spacious apartment felt like home, and the location was perfect for walking to the Waterfront. A couple of hiccups with the check-in process and slow lifts, but overall a great experience.

Very helpful and friendly staff, specially the girl in the reception desk. Good gym facilities. There is a supermarket, bank and Brasilian cafe with good espresso coffe and free wifi Internet connection in the same building.
No free Internet connection neither pc in the hotel.

Baby cot provided and late check out
Additional payment for parking. Parking tags not working so we had to keep getting security to tag us in from front entrance as well as basement entrance and parking.

built within a small shop complex (s/m, dry cleaning, restaurant, hairsaloon a.o) - very convenient!
- ugly view - 1 out of 2 rooms had a glass window to the hotel corridor - for privacy had to be always covered -> no natular light in the room - not so prompt hotel stuff
